In the city of Cavalon, at the pinnacle of the kingdom, unsavory folk have come about. Pick-pockets, thieves, and murderers flood the gates and slums. The guards do what they can to stem the flow, but do little to quell the insanity. Places like the Bathing Houses and the Three-Moon Inn have become safe-havens for these miscreants. This is not the story or order or light, this is the tale of shadows.
But all is not well in the lawless city. There is a new order of thieves, the Giolla Na Naomh, that are trying to enforce their laws and ways upon the various guilds and rabble that have collected there. Currently the ruffians have done fine without any sort of leader, but this group wants to change that. They are terrorizing the people to conform to their ways, and the brigands are getting testy. It's fight or flight for them, and most are determined to win.
